Shay Feeney

Shay Feeney serves as Director of Philanthropic Strategy at ConnectIDD, where she leads fundraising strategy for the firm's portfolio of nonprofit clients. She conducts development audits and capacity assessments, advises executive teams and boards on capital campaign design, major donor strategy, and long-term philanthropic visioning, and builds the donor-facing systems, from CRM utilization plans to stewardship calendars, that turn strategy into sustained revenue.

In this role, she works closely with ConnectIDD's leadership team to keep institutional and individual giving strategy aligned across client engagements, and regularly represents the firm at sector convenings and funder gatherings across the philanthropic ecosystem.

She joined ConnectIDD in 2024 as Director of Operations and stepped into the Director of Philanthropic Strategy role in 2025 after directing the firm's day-to-day operations. Before ConnectIDD, she spent nearly a decade in nonprofit development and consulting, advising on campaigns ranging up to $150 million and coaching executive teams through donor cultivation and solicitation. She holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, a background that first drew her to the communities ConnectIDD serves. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, where she was named a 2022 Emerging Leader in Philanthropy, and serves as an Ambassador with the DFW Nonprofit Resource Group.

Shay lives in Coppell, Texas, with her husband, two-year-old daughter, and mini goldendoodle, Mister Rogers. Her commitment to expanding opportunity and support for people with disabilities is personal, and it shows up in every client relationship.
