Julie is a natural healer with a diverse background in the health and wellness industry. After earning her degree in Applied Sciences, she began her career as an instructor in the Bikram Yoga community. She later created "Hypnotic Yoga," a movement and dance-centered class that bridges wellness and creativity, reflecting her innovative approach to holistic health.
Julie has worked as a Certified Personal Trainer and now practices as a Licensed Massage Therapist in North Texas. Currently, she is training with Seek Healing in Asheville, North Carolina, with the goal of providing Social Health Facilitation to the North Texas region and to ConnectIDD’s partner organizations and their staff.
Julie’s journey in the disability space began in 2011 when a chance encounter introduced her to her future husband, Michael. Together, they are raising their twin sons, Jackson and Maxwell. Alongside her practice and support for ConnectIDD’s partners and clients, Julie is also a dedicated homeschool teacher, focusing on nature, human connection, and self-directed learning.
Passionate about horticulture, dance, yoga, and art, Julie integrates creativity and mindfulness into every aspect of her life and work.
