Julie is a natural healer. In her professional career, she has served in several capacities throughout the health and wellness industry. After earning her degree in applied sciences, she worked as an instructor in the Bikram Yoga world, parlaying that into the creation of movement and dance-centered class called "Hypnotic Yoga" that bridges the gap between wellness and creativity.
She has been certified and operated as a Certified Personal Trainer, but more recently has practiced as a Licensed Massage Therapist in the North Texas area. She is currently training with Seek Healing in Asheville, North Carolina, in hopes to provide Social Health Facilitation in the North Texas region and to our partner organizations and their staff.
Julie has been a part of the disability space since 2011, when a choice encounter would introduce her to her future husband, Michael.
She and Michael have twin boys, Jackson and Maxwell, who will be 10-years-old in April. In addition to her practice and support of our partners and clients in the North Texas region, Julie is also a homeschool teacher for their boys, focusing on the value of nature, human engagement, and self-directed learning. Julie has a passion for horticulture, dance, yoga, and art.
